Southern Regional Composition Conference
The mission of the Southern Regional Composition Conference is to offer teachers, tutors, administrators, and graduate students of composition, regardless of rank, status, or institutional role, the opportunity to network with one another while sharing theoretical and pedagogical approaches to the teaching and tutoring of first-year writing. We aim to foster an environment of collaboration and learning, and we strive to create and support a strong community of scholars and practitioners in our region through an annual conference. The Southern Regional Composition Conference aspires to become the representative event for a network of compositionists and rhetoricians in the Southern region, which includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.
